Job Description:
The Event Tech Marketing Lead will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the event tech marketing operations within the Explore events team. This includes managing the tools, processes, and resources that ensure registration, meeting and housing programs are executed efficiently, on time and within budget using our approved technology stack. The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and implement best practices.

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $84,000 - $135,000
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.

Job Description:
The Event Tech Marketing Lead will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the event tech marketing operations within the Explore events team. This includes managing the tools, processes, and resources that ensure registration, meeting and housing programs are executed efficiently, on time and within budget using our approved technology stack. The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and implement best practices.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Comprehensive knowledge in RainFocus event platform.
- Lead a small event technology team from building and managing workflows, testing and launches, to onsite duties and post-event reporting.
- Host weekly 1x1s with each event tech team member to check in on status of all workflows.
- Host weekly event tech team calls for team to internally brainstorm, keep a shared running list of questions, agenda topics, and notes to reference weekly.
- Own relationship with event technology vendor, work with their account team from scoping and SOWs, to gathering tech requirements, testing/feedback, onsite duties and post-event briefings.
- Own all work streams related to integrations between tech vendor and other interfaces to ensure seamless and secure data hygiene.
- Own all post event reporting related to sessions, speakers, and meetings.
- Ability to manage and monitor multiple event support aliases for attendees who have questions or need assistance.
- Work cross-functionally with various internal stakeholders, program owners and external vendors.
- Own all onsite device planning and management including, badge printers, session scanners, check-in kiosks, lead retrieval devices, and more. Ensure all stakeholders have ordered correct number of devices needed for the event and that the vendors have set up the devices per area correctly.
- Determine build for division of access between the roles in the admin platform. Review and grant all user access requests on rolling basis.
- Maintain and update all process documentation and field hygiene in RainFocus.
- Support the build and management of differentiated attendee group registration paths.
- Own all work streams that fall under content module in RainFocus including, but not limited to: building, testing, and launching Call for Proposals, Session Acceptances & Review Processes, Content Catalogs, Live Tables, Speaker Portals, Reporting, and other technical Session Management tasks that fall under the RainFocus content module.
- Host weekly 1x1s with event content team to gather requirements, test/gather feedback, and review all content related tech tasks.
- Provide consultation to internal teams on event management platforms.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in marketing operations, event management, or related roles with at least 2 years for large-scale events.
- Project Management: Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate challenges and develop effective solutions under pressure.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and the ability to ensure every aspect of event tech operations runs seamlessly.
Key Competencies:
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various divisions and external partners.
