The firm is seeking a talented Corporate M&A Associate with 3-6 years of experience to join its highly regarded private equity team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex M&A transactions, a deep understanding of private equity deal structures, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment. This role provides significant client exposure and the opportunity to work alongside top professionals in the field.Key Responsibilities
  • Advise private equity sponsors and portfolio companies on M&A transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, leveraged buyouts, and joint ventures.
  • Lead due diligence efforts, draft and negotiate transaction documents, and manage deal execution.
  • Work closely with senior attorneys and clients to provide strategic counsel on deal structuring and risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tax, finance, and regulatory experts, to ensure seamless deal execution.
  • Stay up to date on market trends and legal developments impacting private equity M&A.
Qualifications
  • J.D. from a T14 law school with a GPA of 3.6 or higher.
  • 3-6 years of experience at a top-tier law firm or private equity firm handling M&A transactions.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage complex deals and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with sophisticated clients.
