Compliance:
- Manage all areas ofcorporate tax complianceto ensure timely and accurate filings.
- Reconcile tax filings with internal workpapers and verify accuracy of tax computations.
- Ensure compliance with new tax legislation, including corporate tax rate changes and tax credits.
- Overseeincome and non-income tax accrualsand related reconciliations.
- Manage tax payments and ensure proper reconciliation with payable/receivable accounts.
- Monitor IRS and jurisdictional audits and adjust positions accordingly.
- Ensure adherence toSOX 404 internal controls.
- Prepare and analyze fluctuation reports for various tax data sets, including accruals, returns, and forecasts.
- Communicate data findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Review and provide input on tax-related memorandums and technical issues.
- Assist with long-termplanning and forecasting processes.
- Provide recommendations on tax strategies and implement changes based on new legislation.
- Support business transformation initiatives, including the integration ofnew software systemsin the tax department.
- Supervise a team of tax professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Ensure all compliance requirements are understood and followed.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountingrequired.
- 10+ years of related experiencein corporate tax compliance and reporting.
- CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Extensive knowledge offederal and state tax lawsand compliance requirements.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage, train, and influence others.
- Proven ability to handleconfidential informationand maintain a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience withbusiness transformation initiativesand system implementations is a plus.
- Proficiency inMicrosoft Office(Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relevant tax software tools.
- General office environment with no special physical demands.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Base Salary Range:$115,900 - $118,400 USD
