The Corporate Treasurer is responsible for corporate liquidity, loan requirement compliance, letters of credit, performance bonds, bank relationship, bank transactional treasury management procedures and controls, and risk management related to the company's financial activities (exchange rate, interest rate, external bank fraud prevention, internal controls). Also, is responsible to define coverage (risk management policies) and negotiate along with the CFO the insurance policies. Other duties include but are not limited to:

- Forecast cash flow positions (corporate cash flow and Principal's cash flow), related borrowing needs, and funds available. Must have a clear current and forecast view of corporate funds and Principal's funds.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Accounting department in preparation of the Annual Report, budgets, forecasts, and Year-End financial external audit process.
- Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational, capital investment requirements, bank loan commitments or any other liability.
- Maintain relationship with subsidiaries sharing good practices and monitor payment of distributions to the US companies.
- Invest excess cash following company policies.
- Maintain a system of internal controls, guidelines and procedures for activities related to cash and credit management.
- In conjunction with the CFO- Identify, negotiate and maintain the necessary commercial insurance policies to comply with risk levels as approved by the Board.
- Prepare and submit recurrent reports; Daily Bank Report, POFI, closing reports, and all reports requested by Ultramar and upper management.
- Maintain banking and commercial insurance relationships.
- Maintain all company checking accounts; open/close, authorized signatures, etc.
- Maintain User Access controls and credentials for online banking user access.
- Advise management on the liquidity aspects of its short- and long-range planning.
- Oversee the out of pocket regularly.
- Participate as a member of company retirement plan, Fiduciary/Investment Committee.

Requirements:
- University degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance; an MBA, CPA or CMA designation is highly preferred.
- Five to seven (5-7) years prior experience with financial accounting, cash management.
- Five to seven (5-7) years' experience in bank transactional treasury management or related.
- Previous experience with insurance policies highly preferred.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite; Superior Excel skills required
- Experience with multinational organizations.
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
- Ability to respond appropriately in pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanor.
