Cost Accountant -Supervisor

The Cost Accounting Supervisor is responsible for maintaining accurate cost accounting and reporting for our software and forms businesses. This role supports the month-end close and prepares/reviews journal entries and account reconciliations. In addition, they will work with large data sets to identify variances and suggest process improvements. The supervisor plays a key role in the annual inventory and audit process and leads a team of cost accountants, ensuring accuracy, providing coaching, and fostering team development.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Leadership and supervisory experience
