Qualifications and Details about the Position
PURPOSE:
The Cost Engineer will be responsible for analyzing and managing the financial cost of Small Capital Construction Projects, ensuring each stay within budget, while collaborating with the Construction Leadership Team to make informed decisions regarding cost optimization & savings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Set up new projects & maintain proposal logs
Update, analyze, & forecast Project costs
Support equipment billing & procurement
Timesheet coding verification & setup
Analyze Key Performance Indicators
Support Proposal preparation & estimating
Support the management of change orders & RFIs
Support the development of Project Schedules
Support various site established Maintenance Excellence Programs
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Strong organization skills
Self-Motivated / critical thinker
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, & analyze
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
MS Office Programs experience (ie. Word, Outlook, Project, Power Point)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration / Construction Management, or related Field
3+ years of Construction Operations experience
