The Role

The primary objective of the Country Manager is to provide guidance, leadership and support to the operations of the services provided in the country, continue to build and expand services and exceed KPIs and expectations. The Country Manager works closely with the company's various business and functional leaders in different regions to strategize how to improve service delivery to our internal and external customers and how to utilize the Business Support Group.

The Country Manager is also responsible for leading the operational team, in cooperation with the O&M Manager and to create a sustainable and efficient organization, supporting the teamwork and the collaboration amongst the senior managers at local level.

Part of the Country Manager's responsibility is the safety and the health of all the employees, working with the QHSE Manager in implementing and enforcing local and global policies to achieve a 0 accidents objective.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensure a safe work environment by promoting strict adherence to company protocols
  • Communicate regularly with management and all site personnel, both individually and as a group, to ensure excellent two-way communication concerning operational and strategic matters
  • Be the NSPS representative for the Country (operationally, administratively and legally)
  • Full responsibility for the countries P&L including the annual sales and operating goals
  • Leader and representative of the NSPS brand in the local Market and with existing and potential Customers.
  • Responsible for all of the Company's offered products and services in the local market.
  • Ensure the correct planning of O&M Activities and all necessary resources at the Country level. (Technical, Human, Administrative) in the most cost-effective manner while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular customer meetings
  • Develop and Improve the Procedures for plant operations and maintenance.
  • Coordinate, manage and optimize transactional services between contract and 3rd party customers.
  • Select contractors/vendors, initiate contracts and supervise contractors/vendors or NovaSource PV technicians as needed to fulfill O&M service agreement obligations.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop the team in Italy consistent of but not limited to O&M Manager, O&M Coordinators and PV Technicians in the running the Business from an Operational and Managerial Standpoint.
  • Other Miscellaneous duties as assigned related to the tasks and the competences of the role.


Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering or related fields
  • 10+ year's Supervisory Experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • 5+ Experience in leading and managing a Business Unit (Budgeting, Management of people, Management of Contractors and Sub-Contractors, Ability to Interface with different Stakeholders (i.e: Both Executive Level and Operational Level).
  • Be Proficient in leading and managing Team
  • Experience in reading and interpreting electrical, I&C (Instrumentation & Control), mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
  • Strong technical and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to work and make decisions with minimal or no Supervision using a safety first and customer focused mindset.
  • Ability to work under high pressure situations.
  • Organizational skills needed to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong knowledge and use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Proficient in English
  • Must hold a Valid Driving License (B)
