Summary of Job Description:

The Creative Design Representative works on projects from across the organization to produce materials (both digital and print) that are in line with the Panda brand. This job creates and designs images, videos, motion graphics for a variety of media including content for social media, email and web site. This position requires the ability to use essential design software like Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects. The Creative Design Representative also works with vendors to ensure graphic designs produced are consistent with the Panda brand visual identity.

Responsibilities
  • Under the direction of the Creative Director/Manager, plans and executes graphic design projects in support of the company's business needs. Designs and produces collateral that reflect the Panda brand.
  • Supports design projects across all communication touch points, including print, social/digital assets, in-store POP, packaging and signage (menus, menu boards, posters) for promotions and corporate materials (brochures, stationery) as directed.
  • Under the direction of the Creative Director/Manager, plans and executes graphic design projects in support of the company's business needs. Designs and produces collateral that reflect the Panda brand.
  • Develops and produces digital content, including motion graphics and animation.
  • Works with vendors to schedule and plan projects.
  • Performs graphics special projects as requested.
  • Performs administrative functions for Graphic Design, such as filing and organizing samples and photography.

Qualifications - External

Your background and experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics or a related field
  • Minimum three years of graphic design experience, preferably in a retail/hospitality environment; motion animation capabilities preferred
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.


Pay Range: P2: $72,500- $101,500 per year

* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.

While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam table and food vapors. Workspace is restricted and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods of time. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knife and other kitchen equipment and work quickly without losing accuracy. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand up to four hours and reach across counter tops measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot and noise levels are usually high; storage space is limited and shelving is high. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, have effective verbal communication skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and the ability to manage conflicts/difficult situations.
