Description:

The NFL Media Design Group is seeking a Creative Producer to lead the production of pre-produced and live graphics and other design-based assets for early-morning programming. This person will immerse themselves in the production and logistic details of each project, serving as a communication hub between internal and external collaborators while overseeing the successful execution of all pre-produced and live deliverables.

This rolerequires working non-standard overnight/early morning hours Monday-Friday as well as involvement in dayside planning meetings related to short- and long-term planning for shows, with a specific focus on Good Morning Football and GMFB OT, upon hire.

The role will report directly to the Director, Creative Management, Media Design Group.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point-of-contact for Production Leaders, facilitating design and animation requests for daily programming that comply with provided brand guides and best practices.
  • Ensure Sales executions provided (or co-created) with dayside Producers are appropriately executed on-air.
  • Produce the design and animation of required content for air, partnered with a nightly Designer-Animator.
  • Produce the Video Wall Operator, ensuring design best practices and most content-relevant use of the Video Wall.
  • Act as a final set of eyes on all Control Room graphics created by Viz Ops.
  • Review ENPS rundowns daily to verify segments, sponsorships, and executions.
  • In season, review every game listed in the rundown and prepare a wide bank of options for the RTS team.
  • In coordination with show content needs, identify and provide the most relevant and current action shots and cutouts in support of video wall content and the daily risers.
  • Conduct weekly check-ins with the show's Director to identify opportunities for content improvement and identify long-term production goals, to allow both the night-side and daytime support teams to get ahead of production plans.
  • Be adaptable to feedback from Sr. Producers and Art Directors as the show creative, production and budget needs evolve.
  • Create and maintain project schedules related to longer term development as it emerges throughout the season.
  • Actively participate in problem-solving, balancing each project's technical, logistic or content needs with our goal of developing innovative and creative ways to tell stories with design and animation
  • Clearly communicating daily and long-term project expectations with a partnered artist.
  • Supervise and mentor assigned associate producers and coordinators, clearly communicating daily and long-term project expectations while also investing in their professional development and growth.
  • Work closely with our art directors, creative directors and senior leadership to realize the creative vision and departmental goals of each project.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years working in a creative and/or control room environment, with demonstrated experience working with production leaders and directing artists.
  • A broad base of live action, 2D and 3D animation, post-production and new media experience, including experience working with the Adobe suite.
  • A broad base of live production knowledge, including VizRT operation and the ability to produce based on an ENPS rundown.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working as a VizRT operator, or similar role.
  • Able to accommodate non-standard work hours, holidays and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications
  • College Degree
  • Experience managing Adobe Media Suite and Maxon C4D-based projects.
  • Previous experience as a Creative Producer or Associate Producer.

  • A working knowledge of Control Room workflows and Playback devices.
  • A working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, AE and Premiere.
  • Familiarity with a broad range of digital graphic file formats and their appropriate applications.

Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.

Terms / Expected Hours of Work
  • NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week.


Salary

$110,000-$135,000 USD
