Your role
Are you a problem solver? Do you know how to cultivate high stakes relationships with strategic clients? Can you negotiate and execute complex transactions on behalf of a Global Investment Bank? We're looking for someone like that who can:
provide OTC derivatives execution and solutions for strategic Family Offices and UHNW clients across the Americas, and solve their biggest challenges, while also capturing positive economics for UBS
work collaboratively on cross-regional and cross-divisional deal teams to negotiate and execute complex transactions encompassing both investment and hedging solutions - importing and replicating FX best practices from our EMEA/APAC colleagues will be of paramount importance
understand clients' complex needs, anticipate their demands for various Global Markets products within the Investment Bank and orchestrate a holistic coverage approach - persistent and consistent engagement with Financial Advisors across WMA (increase awareness across FA network, educate/demystify OTC Derivatives, convert interest to live trades)
manage and update clients on current positioning and advising on potential restructuring opportunities, especially across the AQ/DQ product suite
build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders - develop and implement a growth strategy in FX/PM for UBS International
Detailed salary information:
New York: the salary range for this role is $175000 to $225000
The expected salary range(s) for this role as of the date of this posting is/are based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Your team
You'll be working in the Unified Global Markets (UGM) Cross Asset Solutions team in NYC. The team sits within the Investment Bank Global Market's Division and covers clients across North America that have a nexus to UBS Wealth Management.
The team's primary transactional focus is in:
- Equity derivatives
- Institutional structured notes
- Cross asset Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS)
Your expertise
a university degree in law, engineering, mathematics, science, economics, finance or other relevant fields
experience in a Global Markets position within a global investment bank in either sales, trading or structuring
solid financial analysis skills, with the ability to produce technical presentation material, risk assessment & investment memoranda, approval documents, term sheets, as well as oversee drafting of transaction documentation by internal and external counsel
experience negotiating complex transaction documents, credit agreements, strategy document & swap confirmations, bespoke derivative confirmations, etc.
effective communication with clients and key stakeholders of the business across the firm. Language skills a plus
