We are hiring for positions on an upcoming effort at Adelphi, MD in support of the U.S. Army Defensive Cyber Solutions Branch of the Army Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR). This position will define the information security strategic roadmap by interfacing with core business functions and technology teams to identify required future state security capabilities, working with internal teams to secure the threat landscape, and considering strategic risk areas of the organization. This position is located at Adelphi, MD.
What will you be doing?
This position will be a key member of the Defensive Cyber Security team. Duties include:
Staying ahead of emerging cybersecurity developments within the Department of Defense (DoD) by actively identifying and anticipating trends, technologies, and regulatory changes, ensuring the organization remains aligned with the latest advancements in defense cybersecurity.
Providing conceptual analysis, requirements analysis, design, implementation, deployment, documentation and recommendation of support tools.
Recommending appropriate technical strategies in resolving complex and persistent IT security challenges.
Assisting and providing direction to the branch managers, DoD and other stake-holders to include determining scope, urgency, and potential impact; identifying the specific vulnerability; and making recommendations that enable expeditious remediation.
What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?
This position will require the following skillsets and experience:
Requires Bachelor's degree (related field preferred)
Requires a minimum of 6 years of related experience
Requires a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance
Must have experience in creating and implementing a detailed plan to ensure the overall quality of all IT products, services and systems for the CSSP internally, as well as its subscribers.
An ideal candidate will have experience maintaining cybersecurity posture in a Government environment
Must be US Citizen and able to obtain a security clearance
