Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Specialty: CT
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Variable shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and potential overnight call
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Experience preferred; proficiency with Siemens equipment required
License: Licensed by the relevant state board
Certifications: ARRT Certified, CPR Certified (American Heart)
Must-Have: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT Board Certified in CT, Licensed in the relevant state
Job Description:
- Perform diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scan images and produce quality exam images.
- Exercise professional judgment in the performance of procedures.
- Provide patient care and initiate life support measures as necessary.
- Interact effectively with patients, physicians, family members, department staff, and healthcare workers.
- Operate CT equipment, including Toshiba Aquilion One, Siemens Definition Edge, Vital Fx Workstation, Tera Recon, and SyngoVia.
- Work with EMR systems such as EPIC/Radiant and PACS like McKesson.
- Possess knowledge of CT Scanners, Cross Sectional Anatomy and Physiology, and 3D Post Processing techniques for various specializations.
- Participate in a 2-week orientation program.
- Work in a 200-bed Level II Trauma Center and Stroke Center.
- Handle weekend call and 12-hour weekend shifts as assigned.
- Work well with all age groups and develop an understanding of the patient's physical and emotional status.
- Position not open to local candidates; applicants must reside more than 80 miles away from the facility.
