Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Specialty: Computed Tomography (CT)
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 10H Days Variable Days (primarily Mon-Thurs, 7 AM - 5:30 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 2 years
License: Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Verification
Certifications: BLS, Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) Verification
Must-Have:
- Experience working with trauma patients in a Level II facility.
- Familiarity with GE CT machines.
Job Description:
- Perform CT scans for inpatient, outpatient, and emergent situations.
- Work across 4 department scanners, all GE models.
- Average 12-14 outpatient scans per day, 10 in-house procedures, and approximately 40 scans in the emergency department (across all shifts).
- Utilize Epic for EMR and PACS system for image archiving and communication.
- Department has Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech available as a resource.
- Assist with starting IVs is preferred, though not required.
- Adhere to staff scheduling that operates 24/7.
- Weekend work and holiday rotation per contract requirements.
- Undergo one week of department-specific orientation with continuous access to resources for any questions.
- Scrubs are provided; follow department dress code.
- No call or standby requirements.
- Radiologists are in-house during daytime; available on call after hours.
- Contribute to a team that doesn't require floating or covering additional areas outside of the designated 4 scanners.
