Description:

The candidate for this position will be the liaison between El Paso manufacturing, Project Engineering, Engineer to Order (ETO) Technology and Automation, and ETO Simplification. They will identify quality barriers related to Configure to Order (CTO), guide teams toward immediate resolution, and translate the barriers into executable projects through root cause analysis. This role will also involve providing weekly updates that include new barriers, progress on resolving existing barriers, information on the systemic solutions implemented, and the impact on the backlog of orders. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be self-motivated.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect and investigate the current quality issues related to the CTO product offer
  • Monitor CTO quality-related issues providing guidance on resolution for in process work
  • Coordinate development of an application for order backlog resolution
  • Translate the CTO quality issues into executable project for the ETO/CTO Simplification Team(s)
  • Track the projects to resolution
  • Investigate converted orders for resolution
  • Knowledge of ETO/CTO Products: Familiarity with the products manufactured in El Paso, TX, as well as experience as a Product Technical Expert.
  • Processes: Understanding of ETO/CTO project engineering processes and tools. (AutoCAD, Creo, PDM, SEEXP, Order Editor, SAP)
  • Offer Definition: Ability to define products in terms of standard, custom, and product constraints.
  • Manufacturing Plant Capabilities: Knowledge of the manufacturing facility capabilities.
  • Issue Translation: Skilled in translating issues into actionable projects.
  • IMPACT Analysis: Ability to provide IMPACT analysis on project requests.
  • Feasibility and Cost: Understanding of product and project costs.
  • Collaboration: Ability to network across Schneider Electric to enhance the quality of the ETO/CTO offerings.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with 3+ years' experience in ETO product design or support.
  • Location: El Paso, Tx.
