Perform the Data pipeline and data management layer development and implementation for Warehouse and analytical models

What are the Roles and Responsibilities of this role?

• Understand the financial models built by the finance team
• Implement the models in a high performant scalable method using Spark or an efficient programming language
• Develop re-usable financial math libraries/packages
• Practice dev ops standards for all the deliverables
• Perform root cause analysis on data and logic issues
• Analyze and propose solutions to help resolve model implementation and data issues
• Document requirements, solution/technical architecture and the SDLC process needs
• Perform impact analysis on the data environment based on changes made in upstream applications

Must Haves:

• Computer science background (experience and/or education).
• Strong programming skills in Python, Scala (or Java) and Spark.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• At least 3+ years of advanced programming experience.
• Documentation skills.

Preferred/ Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with a reporting tool
• Web development and JavaScript knowledge a plus
• Knowledge of Go or SAS
• Knowledge of streaming and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Cloud databases (Snowflake)
