Job Overview:

• Seeking an experienced Security Analyst within Cybersecurity.

Daily Tasks Performed:

• Identify, collect, and perform analysis of raw, primary and secondary cybersecurity data derived from various sources
• Investigate, document, and report on information cybersecurity issues and emerging trends
• Provide actionable strategic, technical, and tactical cyber information and intelligence to management stakeholders through weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports, briefings, and presentations
• Assist in providing threat and vulnerability analysis as well as security advisory services
• Other duties as assigned

Academic/Experience/Competency:

• Bachelor's degree in information systems or equivalent work experience.
• Desirable: Security Certification
• 3 to 5 years of combined IT and security work experience with a broad range of exposure to systems analysis, applications development, database design and administration; one to two years of experience with information security
• Prior roles in a security operations center w/ experience as a subject matter expert with security products
• Experience as an Incident Coordinator/Manager
• The ability to understand and execute Threat Hunting activities
• In-depth working experience with Vulnerability Management and/or Threat Intelligence roles
• Prior experience in roles like, Help Desk Tech, System Admin, Network Admin, or Server Admin
• Working knowledge of cyber threat intelligence, actors, malware, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), malware, various security methodologies and processes OR working knowledge of intelligence analysis and tradecraft
• Working knowledge of cyber operational security, log analysis, netflow analysis, incident response, malware analysis, computer forensics, and/or cyber crime
