Cyber Security Support Engineer with Security Clearance

Piper Companies is seeking a Cyber Security Support Engineer for an Information technology government-contractor in Dayton, OH. Responsibilities for the Cyber Security Support Engineer: Lead the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of the cybersecurity infrastructure Incorporate DOD-directed vulnerability solutions into the enclave systems and network designs, such as IAVA requirements Implement strategies such as blocking/filtering, IDS/IPS, anti-virus, logical traffic separation, content analysis, and DISA compliance Work with cybersecurity and project teams to meet engineering requirements Ensure secure backups with a documented plan and proper storage Qualifications for the Cyber Security Support Engineer: 5+ years of Linux experience 3+ years experience working with IDS, IPS, and Host Based Security Solutions Experience with tools such as Kali, Burpsuite Professional, Python, and Bash Security+ Certification and Certified Ethical Hacker required BA/S in Computer Science or other related field Compensation/Benefits for the Cyber Security Support Engineer: Salary Range: $170,000 - $190,000 **depending on experience** Comprehensive benefit package; Cigna Medical, Cigna Dental, Vision, 401k w/ ADP, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, paid holidays This job opens for applications on 2/28/2025.
