Position Description:
- The cyber testing analyst will be primarily responsible for scheduling, executing, and measuring the success of scheduled tests against blue team operations.
- Tests will be designed to test the detect and response functions for quality and accuracy.
- A successful candidate will have a strong fundamental understanding of red/blue/purple team functions, and hands-on experience working in some facet of blue team operations (SOC analyst, security engineer, etc.).
- They should also have a knack for figuring out, that which is not Googleable.
Required Experience:
- Real world experience in an enterprise security operations setting.
- Core understanding of the nuances between red, blue, and purple teams.
- Technical competency with internetworking and operating system concepts.
Preferred Experience:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with scripting languages (bash, PowerShell, python).
- Autonomous / self-motivated.
