Summary

The Cybersecurity Manager is a member of the Audia IT team reporting to the VP of IT. Responsible for overseeing the security measures of our information systems and networks. This position will develop and implement polices, protocols and procedures to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of digital assets.

Oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's cybersecurity programs. Ensures optimal performance, security, and scalability of our systems while proactively preventing cyber threats. This role requires strategic leadership coupled with technical expertise and a hands-on-approach to manage security operations as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Cybersecurity
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to protect the organization's assets, data, and systems
  • Accountable for the monitoring and response to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats
  • Conduct regular security assessments, audits and penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions
  • Educate employees about security best practices

Leadership
  • Lead and mentor the cybersecurity team
  • Develop and manage the cybersecurity budget, ensuring cost-effective security solutions
  • Foster collaboration across IT and other departments to align technology with business goals
  • Evaluate and manage security services and products

Compliance & Governance
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations and frameworks (ISO 270001, NIST, GDPR)
  • Maintain detailed documentation of systems, processes and security protocols
  • Prepare and deliver reports on cybersecurity posture
  • Coordinate performance monitoring of all systems
  • Maintain currency on best practices and new technology
  • Assess risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain acceptable levels of risk

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Info Technology or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field (CISSP, CISM, CISA highly desirable)
  • Proven work experience in cybersecurity with a at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, and security technologies
  • Experience in network security, encryption technologies and endpoint security solutions
  • Understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and cybersecurity threats
  • Proficiency in conducting security assessments and penetration testing
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and regulatory requirements
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure
  • Strong critical thinking, diagnostic, and communication and reporting skills
