Description:

Symmetrio is actively recruiting a Cybersecurity Project Manager for our customer, an international food services and facilities company. For this role, the candidate must be located in the Philadelphia area to attend our customer's Philadelphia office once a week. The Cybersecurity Project Manager will have extensive experience and a proven track record of successfully managing complex cybersecurity projects, with a deep understanding of CrowdStrike's capabilities and best practices for a Microsoft Office 365 environment. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity project management.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute project plans for the implementation and ongoing support of CrowdStrike, ensuring alignment with the organization's cybersecurity strategy and goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish timelines and milestones.
  • Manage the CrowdStrike implementation process, including the configuration of endpoints, policies, and detection rules, as well as the integration with existing security tools and workflows.
  • Coordinate with the support team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensure timely updates and patching, and maintain optimal system performance.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, and standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct user training and awareness programs to ensure the effective use of CrowdStrike and promote a strong cybersecurity culture within the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest CrowdStrike features, industry trends, and best practices, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement of the organization's cybersecurity posture.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Crowdstrike's capabilities, architecture, and best practices, with hands-on experience in implementing and managing Crowdstrike solutions.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar cybersecurity certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.
