Description: As a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer (Level 3), you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure information systems for a Government client. You will leverage your extensive experience in systems engineering and cybersecurity to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical infrastructure. You will be responsible for coordinating with Government security policies and working with various teams on tasks related to system administration, security analysis, vulnerability assessment, and information systems security management from a systems engineering perspective. Prior work experience with the Federal Government is preferred, along with the preferred skills suggested below.
Cybersecurity Professional - Level 3 Job Duties:
Security Clearance Requirements: Active Secret (S) required. Candidates must already possess this clearance level upon applying.
Experience Requirements: 10 years of recent relevant experience OR five years of which in Computer Science AND five years in a related field or 10 years in an engineering related discipline.
Education Requirements: Minimum bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution in information security, cybersecurity, computer engineering, computer science, or closely related technical field; or the equivalent combination of experience and training related to task scope and objectives.

Cybersecurity Professional - Level 3 Job Duties:
- Design and implement secure system architectures, considering all aspects of cybersecurity.
- Engineer and deploy secure operating systems, applications, and network infrastructure.
- Integrate security tools and technologies into system designs.
- Develop and implement security hardening guidelines and best practices for systems.
- Perform system administration tasks with a strong emphasis on security configuration and maintenance.
- Implement and manage security controls on systems, including access controls, audit logging, and security patching.
- Ensure systems comply with relevant security policies and standards.
- Conduct security analysis of system configurations and identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Support vulnerability assessment activities and analyze results from security scans.
- Develop and implement remediation strategies for identified system vulnerabilities.
- Track and report on the status of vulnerability remediation efforts.
- Contribute to the development of secure system architectures that align with Government security requirements.
- Integrate security components and services across different systems.
- Evaluate and recommend security technologies and solutions for system enhancements.
