What You Will Do:
- Collaborate with top Cybersecurity professionals and subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and develop cutting-edge training programs that drive impactful learning experiences. You'll be at the forefront of shaping our organization's cybersecurity knowledge base.
- Lead the creation and delivery of innovative Cybersecurity Training modules using state-of-the-art tools, ensuring accessibility and compliance standards are met. Your innovative approach will play a critical role in the defense of cyber threats.
- Play a pivotal role in crafting and executing our comprehensive Cybersecurity Training and awareness strategy. You'll influence the direction of our cybersecurity education initiatives and be a key player in high-impact working groups and project teams.
- Engage with a dynamic network of clients and stakeholders through impactful presentations and continuous communication. Your ability to translate complex cybersecurity concepts into relatable content will be vital in strengthening our organization's security culture.
- Take ownership of our Cybersecurity Training platforms and resources, ensuring they are always up-to-date and fully functional. Your attention to detail will keep our training programs running smoothly and effectively.
- Craft and deliver compelling Cybersecurity Awareness and Training briefings and reports for senior leadership. You'll also develop and maintain expertly written handbooks and materials, establishing yourself as a thought leader within the organization.
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing training performance metrics and leading social engineering exercises. Your contributions will directly support our mission to cultivate a highly secure and resilient organizational environment.
What You Will Need:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of ten (10) 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, including at least four years performing cybersecurity training.
- Certifications: PMP, GISP, CISM, CISSP, or Governance, Risk, and Compliance Certification CGRC.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threats, and best practices, with familiarity in frameworks such as the Cybersecurity Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST AI RMF, and Cybersecurity Acquisition Lifecycle (Cyber ALF) to ensure relevant and up-to-date training content.
- Expertise in designing and developing engaging and effective training programs using tools like Adobe Captivate, Adobe Premiere Rush, and KnowBe4, ensuring all content is compliant with SCORM and Section 508 standards.
- Exceptional ability to translate complex cybersecurity concepts into clear, engaging content for diverse audiences, both through formal presentations and informal communication.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple training initiatives, manage timelines, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing Social Engineering exercises and other cybersecurity awareness activities, including developing materials for Cybersecurity Awareness Month and other initiatives.
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining professionally written training materials, handbooks, and policy updates, ensuring all documentation is clear, grammatically correct, and aligned with federal and departmental cybersecurity standards.
- Ability to conduct thorough research to support the development of cybersecurity training content, including the creation of videos and other multimedia resources, to keep training materials relevant and innovative.
- Skilled in administering and maintaining cybersecurity training delivery platforms, including updating SharePoint sites with the latest training artifacts and ensuring all links and resources are functional.
