Job Description: Data Administrator Team Lead

Time Type: Full Time

Position Summary:

WGI is seeking a highly motivated, self-starter to join our team who is detail-oriented and can operate under fast circumstances where requirements are changing rapidly. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of data administrators to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of our organization's data. This role involves team oversight, management data entry, and maintenance to contribute to the efficient operation of our case processing system.

Location: Potential for remote work arrangement in the US (preferably Washington DC Metro Area).

Travel: Flexible to potential travel in 1-3 month increments OCONUS if called for.

Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Oversee and direct Data Admin workstream on the Data Ops Team
  • Liaise with the Coordination of Afghanistan Refugees (CARE) Data Quality team to reinforce data entry standards and SOP adherence
  • Ensure data administrators are completing contract deliverables by hosting meetings and managing daily tasks
  • Coordinate distribution of data admin team taskings from internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure operational and policy changes are integrated into data admin processes and communicated effectively across the organization
  • Collaborates on data-related Policy Decisions in response to changing Program Requirements
  • Direct completion of documentation of data processes, procedures, and system configurations
  • Create and update user manuals and SOPs for data management systems to facilitate training
  • Collaborate with the Development team to troubleshoot and resolve data-related problems
  • Assist in analyzing data trends and patterns to identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports as requested by various departments
  • Explore opportunities for process automation to streamline data entry and management tasks
  • Collaborate with other departments to extract meaningful insights from the data for informed decision-making
  • Accurately input and update data into information systems

Requirements / Qualifications:
  • United States citizenship with Active Secret Security Clearance or higher
  • Current US passport, not expiring in the next 6 months
  • 5+ years experience leading a project management team
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., International Relations, Political Science, or Data Science)
  • 5 - 10 years of refugee/SIV case management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Communicate effectively in high-pressure environments
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience with various project management organization styles
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
  • Exceptional interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and a high level of confidentiality

Preferred:
  • Experience handling highly confidential information
  • USRAP / Enduring Welcome Program knowledge
  • Background in US Immigration Policy, Systems, and/or Process
