How You'll Make an Impact:
In this role, you will be responsible for implementing projects that deliver significant business value. You will collaborate with other teams within the CDO and engage with business users. Additionally, you will own and manage the data pipeline for the team. Your ability to multi-task, manage communication, and handle management reporting on behalf of the team will be crucial.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between 100,000 and 110,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch's total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.

How You'll Make an Impact:
In this role, you will be responsible for implementing projects that deliver significant business value. You will collaborate with other teams within the CDO and engage with business users. You May be a Good Fit if:
- Experience with databases and SQL (2+ years)
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Python, with expertise in data wrangling and packages that deal with predictive modeling and forecasting (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels) (3+ years).
- Familiarity with Qlik, PowerBI or other BI tools will be a plus.
- A strong motivation to proactively seek and acquire new skills independently.
What Would Make You Stand Out:
- A background in financial services, with practical experience applying data science techniques to solve industry-specific challenges.
- Proven experience in creating and delivering decks for management reporting, showcasing the ability to convey technical insights to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Demonstrated success in implementing and optimizing time series models and clustering algorithms in real-world applications.
