What You Will Do:

• Provide expert leadership and guidance in performance under this contract. Lead the overall development of data models and algorithms to support machine learning and other data science research efforts.
• Develop a deep understanding of the mission, deliverables and expectations. Assist in soliciting and assessing requirements among data consumers/analysts, visualization specialists, programmers, and engineers. Translating them into efficient and scalable data solutions.
• Create and maintain efficient scripts/data pipelines to clean, transform and ingest data from a variety of formats.
• Design, build and train machine learning models, using Python, R. Design and develop dashboards using visualization tools, Tableau.
• Drive innovation by staying abreast of industry trends and incorporating best practices into our data engineering processes. Review new and existing data platform architecture. Provide continuous improvement ideas.
• Work as part of an AGILE team to implement best practices. Use collaboration software to ensure documented data processes, practices, and products and to communicate progress and issues.

What You Need:

• Bachelor of Science in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related degree and subject. Post-Graduate Degree in Data Science, Statistics, or Machine Learning preferred
• Five (5) years of experience leading data modeling, data science, algorithm development, and automation efforts. Hands-on experience in building and training models.
• Broad experience in Big Data, data engineering, analytics and visualization performing the duties noted above is required
• Certificates or certifications in Machine Learning, Big Data or Artificial Intelligence, a plus.
• US Citizen, Green Card EAD, Eligible for a Public Trust Clearance. No Sponsorship is offered.
