The NCR Voyix Internal Audit Department is on a journey to develop a data-driven, modern internal audit function to serve as a trusted business partner to the Audit Committee and executive leadership across the organization.
The Internal Audit Data Analytics Manager is a strategic role responsible for leading and executing the department's data analytics initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Audit Executive (CAE), this leader will focus on optimizing audit processes, implementing innovative analytics solutions, and driving an analytics-centric culture within internal audit.
The role calls for a skilled data analyst who is adept at leveraging technology to enhance audit effectiveness, employing tools such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Artificial Intelligence (AI), data analytics, and Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM). This individual will be integral in forging partnerships across IT, risk, and legal teams to ensure robust data insight capabilities, and will actively contribute to the development of an upskilling program that elevates the audit team's proficiency in analytics.
The Internal Audit Data Analytics Manager will not only sharpen the department's strategic focus through data but also champion a seamless integration of advanced analytics into all aspects of internal audit, reshaping the organization's approach to risk management and operational excellence.

- Dashboard Development: Conceptualize, build, and maintain continuous monitoring dashboards, ensuring they provide real-time, actionable insights that drive audit priorities and operational improvements.
- Analytics Integration and Governance: Spearhead the integration of analytics into all stages of the internal audit lifecycle, optimizing audit trail completeness and coverage. Oversee the data analytics program's governance, uphold data management standards, and ensure the security and integrity of analytical artifacts.
- AuditBoard Enhancement: Serve as the owner of AuditBoard technology deployment, proactively engaging with the platform's customer success team and internal audit leaders to tailor features that meet the department's dynamic requirements.
- AI and Advanced Analytics Collaboration: Partner with the company's AI & Analytics team to integrate advanced analytics, including AI and machine learning, to identify audit risks and trends, increasing the predictive capabilities of audit engagements.
- Risk and Legal Alignment: Provide expert data analysis support to risk and legal teams during investigations, highlighting critical data points and trends that assist in risk mitigation and decision making.
- Audit Planning and Execution: Actively participate in risk assessment and audit planning processes, providing data analytics insights. Ensure analytics are embedded early in audit planning stages to maximize impact and direct audit focus.
- Data Management and Access: Manage the acquisition and accessibility of audit-related data, liaising with relevant stakeholders to ensure that data needs are well understood and met. Define and communicate data requirements, ensuring the internal audit team can leverage relevant data correlations and insights effectively.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with other departments to leverage shared tools and data repositories, enhancing the overall efficacy of the internal audit department and offering valuable insights to organizational stakeholders.
- Analytics-Driven Audit Culture: Champion the use of analytics throughout the audit function, facilitating knowledge sharing and fostering a culture of continuous analytical learning and development.
- Training and Development: Invest in upskilling the internal audit department in the use of analytics tools and techniques, driving autonomy and proficiency across the team.
- Co-source Partnership Management: Collaborate closely with external partners to drive and execute the internal audit data analytics strategy and projects.
Required knowledge, skills, or abilities
- Understanding of, and knowledge of, internal audit and risk advisory.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and verbal/written communication skills with business, financial, and operational acumen.
- Effective project and time management skills.
- Effective influencing and relationship management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience working with complex data sets with varying levels of quality; analyzing and interpreting related trends or patterns.
- Demonstrated experience in presenting data and conclusions.

Education and Experience Qualifications:
- A seasoned professional with 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, data analytics, and/or business intelligence, with increasing management responsibility
- A bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, Information Systems, or other related business disciplines.
- Active CIA, CPA, and/or CISA certification preferred.
- Exceptional knowledge of Extract, Transform and Load process and tools.
- Experience with data tools like Microsoft Synapse, Alteryx, ACL and/or IDEA
- Expert experience with visualization of data using PowerBI and Tableau
- Strong knowledge and experience with traditional and cloud database technology (e.g., SQL, AWS, and/or Azure) and an advanced understanding of data warehousing, data flow and handling
- Proficiency in English, both verbally and in written form required.
