Daily Job Duties:
  • Gather project requirements, define specifications and formulating feasibility and needs/impact assessments.
  • Develop details project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control processes and develop project budget.
  • Coordinate across multiple service teams to agree on project details include schedules and impact.
  • Create and manage data center capacity plans for allocated facilities in co-ordination with the Planning and Service Teams.
  • Create rack decommissioning plans.
  • Handle daily work through internal tooling and ticketing systems. Ensuring timely communication with internal stakeholders and audit trails are maintained.
  • Documentation of activities and strict alignment to SOP's
  • Review, action incoming and open tickets, prioritize work based on ticket severity.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
  • Data center utilization is maintained within capacity limits.
  • Unused hardware is relocated to maximize the investment.
  • Projects are completed on-time and within budget.
  • Ensure facility documentation repository is complete and up-to-date.
  • Assist with developing dashboards and automation to support scalable solutions.
  • Work independently, evaluating issues and taking appropriate actions to resolve on open issues while understanding when to advance appropriately.
  • Effective communication across all project and external stakeholder groups, and levels of management.

Requirements:
  • 5-7 years project management experience working in an IT environment.
  • Knowledge of server/storage/network hardware systems and components.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Be a good team player.
  • Dependable and trustworthy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-year or 4-year degree or relevant work experience
  • 4+ years of enterprise data center experience

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
