Data Connection Engineer

ECS is seeking a Data Connection Engineer to work in our Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon [contract award].

The Data Connection Engineer is responsible for seamless data flow across diverse systems and platforms through data connection and integration services. This includes setting up data pipelines, APIs, and middleware solutions (primarily Kafka) that facilitate efficient data ingestion, processing, and dissemination, ensuring data consistency and accessibility. Works with data and integration teams to identify demarcation of effort to support integration and access to all environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and comply with ACAs to support data, network, service connections to hardware capabilities
• Maintain cloud capabilities/services as well as maintain admin and super user accounts necessary to enable the cloud service.
• Properly document, configuration and keeping up to date with security relevant software/firmware upgrades
• Provide mission expertise including data and networks to support onboarding activities
• Create and maintain network and security system designs
• Maintain network topology diagrams

Salary Range: $126,000-$141,000
