Description
The position requires a Bachelor`s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related technical or business discipline plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a Data Engineer-related occupation.

Description
- Under general supervision, responsible for the analysis, development, and execution of data solutions of moderate complexity to manage the information lifecycle needs of an organization
- Collect, integrate, and analyze organizational data with the purpose of drawing conclusions from that information; Develop, model, construct, test, and maintain data architectures for data platform, database, analytical/reporting, or data science systems
- Establish and build data systems including providing standards, policies, practice, procedures, governance, and quality assurance for data deliverables
- Recommends methods to improve data reliability, quality, and efficiency
- Identify and integrate data from a variety of sources and prepare data for reporting and analytics or predictive and prescriptive data science models and advanced analytics
- Design and develop low to moderately complex programs and tools to support ingestion, curation, and provisioning of enterprise data to achieve analytics or reporting. Maintain and build data pipeline systems
- Telecommuting permitted up to 100%

The position also requires demonstrable experience with each of the following:
- IT concepts, strategies and methodologies including SDLC processes, Object Oriented Programming, Testing methodologies, and Data Strategy & Design
- Design and development tools including Data Ingestion, curation & provisioning, data extraction and transformation, and data integration
- Architectures and technical standards including and understanding of Enterprise Data Architecture
- Layered systems architectures and layered solutions and designs
- Shared data engineering concepts
- Agile data engineering concepts and processes
- Understanding of Data warehousing and Data Lake concepts
- Knowledge of data engineering concepts
- Knowledge of data modeling concepts
- Analyzing, Designing, Developing, and Executing data solutions leveraging Data Engineering languages and tools, including cloud-based dev & customer enablement tools
- Application Programming Interfaces (API) data access
- DevOps-CI/CD: deployment & provisioning of data solutions
- Data security and secure coding practices
- Snowflake, Snap logic, Informatica, Python, JavaScript, ANSI SQL, Data Vault, Vault Speed, GitHub, AWS, JIRA
- Telecommuting permitted up to 100%
