We are looking for an amazingData Governance Analystto fill this role, which is based in our Fort Lauderdale office. The Data Governance Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality, integrity, and security of the organization's data. This role involves developing and implementing data governance policies, procedures, and standards, as well as collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance and effective data management.

Responsibilities
  • Data Governance Framework: Develop and implement data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
  • Data Quality Management: Conduct data quality audits and lead initiatives to improve data quality across the organization.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Develop metrics and dashboards for data quality and governance initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Work with IT, legal, compliance, and business teams to establish data standards and ensure effective data management.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, data lineage, and data flow diagrams.
  • Training and Support: Conduct training sessions and workshops on data governance practices and principles.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Data Science, or equivalentcombination of education and/or experience.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience Excel.
  • Minimum 5 years Data Governance, data management, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, data management, and data-related regulatory requirements. Proficiency in data governance tools and technologies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented thinker exhibiting strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong collaboration skills with both internal and external departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work with a minimal amount of direction while being pro-active in keeping their management informed of project related issues
  • Experience with version control
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams, OneNote.Strong experience with Power BI, MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Effective communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Demonstrates confidentiality and strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).
