Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL programs to move data into and out of the Operational Data Store (ODS).
- Provide ongoing support for existing data integration jobs, including off-hours on-call support as needed.
- Develop and support integration solutions in alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Perform data mapping, transformation, and exception handling across multiple enterprise data sources.
- Work with complex XML data structures, designing DataStage jobs for XML data extraction and conversion.
- Utilize Unix Shell scripting for job automation and process optimization.
- Manage batch job creation and scheduling using Tivoli Workload Scheduler.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze data integration needs and propose effective architectural solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency through validation, reconciliation, and debugging of data pipelines.
- Support business-critical systems in a 24/7 production environment and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Experience with ETL tools, preferably IBM DataStage.
- Proficiency in IBM InfoSphere Information Server (versions 8.7, 11.5) and related technologies such as OBJEX, WebServices, Message Broker 6, IIB 10, Java, and Datapower.
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Expertise in designing and managing complex XML DataStage jobs for data integration.
- Proficiency in Unix Shell scripting for automation and job orchestration.
- Experience with Tivoli Workload Scheduler for batch job management.
- Familiarity with enterprise integration technologies such as Java/J2EE, JSON, JMS, XML, XSLT, XSD, SOAP, REST, WSDL, WMB 6, IIB 10, and Datapower (preferred).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and work with complex data models.
