We're looking for a hands-on Data Lead to architect and deliver end-to-end data features that power our booking and content management systems. You'll lead a team, own the data pipeline lifecycle, and play a critical role in shaping and scaling our data infrastructure - spanning batch, real-time, and NoSQL environments.

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of booking and CMS data features according to the roadmap.
- Build, optimize, and manage robust data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using tools like Airflow, DBT, and Databricks.
- Oversee infrastructure and storage layers across distributed systems (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB, Postgres), ensuring scalability, availability, and performance.
- Support and partner with Data PMs to deliver clean, actionable data for reporting, analytics, and experimentation.
- Handle client data queries, investigate anomalies, and proactively improve data quality and debugging workflows.
- Manage a team of data engineers and analysts: provide architectural direction, review code, and support career growth.
- Collaborate with DevOps/Platform teams on deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization of data services.
- Champion best practices in data governance, version control, security, and documentation.
Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering with a strong focus on both data modeling and infrastructure.
- 2+ years of experience of managing and guiding data team to realize complicated data features.
- Proficient in SQL, Python, and working with modern data stack tools (e.g., DBT, Databricks, Airflow).
- Experience managing distributed and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB), and cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
- Strong understanding of scalable data architecture and real-time streaming pipelines is a plus.
- Experience in leading teams, setting code standards, and mentoring junior developers.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable data systems.
- Familiarity with booking platforms, CMS architectures, or event-based tracking systems is a plus!
