Our Global Information Security team's mission is to ensure the development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive program that effectively protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Point72 information assets. Our team is comprised of security professionals with expertise in a diverse portfolio of security disciplines.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive DLP strategy across cloud and on-premises environments
Architect and deploy DLP solutions including but not limited to Microsoft Purview and M365 DLP capabilities
Develop and maintain data classification frameworks and taxonomies, leveraging automation wherever possible
Configure, tune, and optimize DLP policies and rules across multiple platforms with a bias towards optimizing signal-to-noise ratios and minimizing false positives
Partner with our Security Operations team to operationalize monitoring, alerting and response actions to DLP events
Conduct regular assessments of DLP effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement
Partner with business units to understand data flows and implement appropriate controls
Create and maintain documentation for DLP processes, policies, and procedures
Provide technical guidance and training to stakeholders on DLP best practices
Perform regular audits to ensure DLP controls meet compliance requirements
Assist in incident response efforts related to data loss events
WHAT'S REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or related field
5+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing and managing DLP solutions
Deep expertise with Microsoft Purview and M365 DLP capabilities
Strong understanding of data classification methodologies and tools
Experience with Varonis or other Enterprise DSPM platforms
Experience with endpoint DLP via Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (and/or 3rd-party equivalents such as Proofpoint)
Familiarity with End-User Behavior Analytics (EUBA) and Insider Risk Management processes and tools
Familiarity with all layers of infrastructure (endpoint, application, storage, network, perimeter, etc) as they relate to overall data security
Extensive experience with DLP in both on-premises and cloud environments, including both structured and unstructured data, databases, file servers, etc.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.) related to data protection
Experience integrating DLP tools with SIEM and related security monitoring and alerting platforms

The annual base salary range for this role is $200,000-$250,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
