Position Overview
As our Data Manager, you will manage all aspects of our application data and programs including establishing and maintaining policies and procedures for planning, designing, and maintaining our various data platforms to ensure continuous operations of our business units. In this role, you will oversee the integrity and maintenance of enterprise-wide application data. You should have a moderate level of experience configuring and administrating database systems and developing system reports. You will report directly to our Director of Information Technology.

Position Overview

You should have a moderate level of experience configuring and administrating database systems and developing system reports. You will report directly to our Director of Information Technology.
Position Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, update, and maintain various databases and develop reports for internal third-party business platforms supporting day-to-day operating needs including our CMS - Salesforce and our learning management system
- Identify and correct data quality issues
- Create SQL queries to provide business intelligence information; write, test, and maintain batch-oriented jobs; provide database development assistance
- Engage at a high level to critically understand our business operations and various systems by interacting with project stakeholders, sponsors, and management
- Collaborate with the partners, managers, and IT team to identify process improvement opportunities
- Respond to user support requests on various third-party applications, write new reports to solve business needs, and ensure system processes are aligned with company goals
- Analyze, present, and explain information in accessible and actionable ways
- Participate in in-service education programs on internal systems and applications
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and keeping informed of any changes in methods, procedures, etc.
Position Salary/Compensation
- Salary $80-90K+, depending on experience

Requirements: 
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3-5 years' experience in data analysis and report writing
- 1-3 years' experience with Microsoft SQL and Oracle DBMS
- SalesForce experience a plus; Insurance industry experience a plus
- Highly motivated, team player with a strong aptitude for data analysis
- Strong knowledge of SQL, MS Excel, and Business Intelligence tools
- Familiarity with data storage, retrieval, and manipulation methods within
- both relational and non-relational database architectures
- Capacity for troubleshooting data or performance-related system issues using logical problem-solving methods and process of elimination
- Ability to grasp complex issues and determine appropriate resolution
- Exceptional communication to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Required to have mastered time-management and organizational skills to meet deadlines and schedules; including setting priorities; establishing effective relationships; being attentive to detail; and working non-standard hours at times
