Description:

Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills

Resource with 6+ years of experience in data migrations to cloud.
Experience in data migration to Micro Focus platform.
Experience in application Migration to Enterprise Developer, Enterprise Server.
Experience in data migrations before (VSAM file to RDBMS).
Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining.
Expert in Cobol, Easytrieve, JCL, CICS & VSAM Files.
Experience with BMC Control-M scheduling tool.
Good experience with Communication protocols like SFTP and Connect: Direct.
Executed technology modernization initiatives including migration to cloud native and API Strategy.
Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams.
Experience in implementation of projects.
Very strong analytical skills.
Good communication skills to work with various teams (infra, QA, business)

Roles and responsibility

Understand the concepts on file based and RDBMS based data.
Understands the data migration window and plan for production data migration
Design data migration routines and validation routines
Code and test routines designed by architect
Run tests on routines and validate the volume, time, correctness, and completeness.

Desirable Technical / Functional Skills

Experience in modernizing the legacy mainframe applications to cloud native technologies.
Good to have Google cloud platform knowledge.
Understanding of Retail Domain.
Good to have Informatica, UNIX, SQL, and Database knowledge.
Exposure to Micro Focus Emulator.
