Spirent is currently accepting applications for highly skilled and experienced Data Scientists to join our team in the future. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, with a focus on anomaly detection, transformers, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems. While telecom experience is a plus, a strong analytical mindset and expertise in cutting-edge machine-learning techniques are essential for this role.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience
- Strong experience in machine learning, deep learning, and AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn)
- Hands-on experience with RAG systems, transformers, and NLP models
- Expertise in anomaly detection techniques, including statistical and ML-based approaches
- Strong background in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation
- Fine-tuning experience with large datasets
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD)
- Familiarity with graph databases and knowledge of graphs for information retrieval
- Contributions to research publications, open-source projects, or AI/ML communities
- Understanding of AI governance and implementation
- Telecom industry experience is a plus
