Role Title: Metadata Lead
Responsibilities:
Expert knowledge of metadata management and other data governance principles.
Lead the operationalization of metadata management.
Point of contact for all metadata management and related work efforts.
Expert in classifying, cataloging, and indexing data for easy retrieval and optimal usefulness.
Advanced hands-on experience in applying metadata management techniques.
Expertise in leading the development of data models and taxonomies.
Lead in building business glossary and technical data lineage.
Lead in monitoring and testing functionalities and environments through metadata audits.
Lead a team of metadata experts in metadata operations and critical deliverables.
Ability to communicate technical details to a business user.
5 to 7 years of experience in leveraging Collibra, Purview, and Informatica capabilities in an administrative and leadership capacity.
Must be Protected B Clearance ready, obtained from the RCMP.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information, Data Science, Data Management, Computer Science, or Engineering. A Master's degree is a plus but not required.
Experience in data architecture or solutions architecture, or Collibra Ranger designation is a plus but not required.
