We're looking for someone to join our team as a Database Administrator who:
The Database Administrator is the technical member of the IT team. The Database Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our database systems' performance, security, and reliability. The ideal candidate should have experience working in an enterprise IT environment, strong problem-solving skills, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The incumbent will support and partner with business stakeholders on creating data marts while ensuring high confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

We're looking for someone to join our team as a Database Administrator who:
The Database Administrator is the technical member of the IT team. Essential Functions:
- Strategy & Planning
- Participate in developing IT strategies in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Design and implement Azure ETL and data pipelines to support data ingestion, integration, and reporting capabilities.
- Create and maintain documentation related to database configurations, procedures, and data pipelines.
- Collaborate with developers, IT staff, and other stakeholders to identify and implement database and data pipeline enhancements.
Acquisition & Deployment- Evaluate, recommend, and select data warehouse components, including hardware, database management systems, data mining tools, and meta data management tools.
- Support the design, testing and implementation of process enhancements and identify opportunities for automation.
- Develop, execute, and maintain complex scripts and reports developed using a variety of analytical tools.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in database administration and data engineering.
- Assist with the planning and deployment of security measures.
Operational Management- Install, configure, and maintain database systems.
- Monitor database performance and optimize for maximum performance and reliability.
- Ensure data security and compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA
- Monitor system details within data and application systems including stored procedures, maintenance and implement efficiency improvements.
- Identify data discrepancies and data quality issues, and work to ensure data consistency and integrity.
- Liaise with infrastructure team to assist with quality assurance, program logic, and data processing.
- Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organization's end users regarding data activities.
- Work and communicate effectively with the various professionals throughout the organization.
You'll be successful with the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in database administration
- Experience with relational databases required - working knowledge of automation capabilities such as batch process, stored procedures, scripting tools.
- Technically fluent with data platforms, including SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and Azure SQL databases, Azure Data Factory highly desirable.
- Firsthand experience with data architecture, data mining, data modeling, and business requirements gathering/analysis.
- Experience with the organization's core software applications and technologies including by not limited to Epic, Sage, Microix, ADP, Microsoft Power Apps, SharePoint, PowerBI, API management.
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices, laws, and regulations.
- Ability to make sound and logical judgments.
- Demonstrated leadership and personnel/project management skills.
- Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Able to conduct research into issues and products as required.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
- Ability to present ideas in a user-friendly language.
- Highly self-motivated and directed.

- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- On-call availability for emergency issues.
- Occasional inspection of cables in floors and ceilings
- Must adhere to Clinica Sierra Vista's employee health/immunization requirements or provide a valid exemption request for subsequent approval.
