Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Database Administrator who will be a member to the Infrastructure Team, will need to work closely with the Server System Engineers. The resource will help migrate to new versions of SQL and ensure the availability and optimization of the current MSSQL 2008 - 2022 databases. The resource may occasionally work with other database platforms such as Oracle. This position will need to have experience in ETL processes and have knowledge of Azure SQL Database and Managed Instances.

Our client is seeking an experienced Database Administrator who will be a member to the Infrastructure Team, will need to work closely with the Server System Engineers. Key Responsibilities:
- Support SQL server applications
- Supporting SQL Server components, including SSIS and SSRS
- Maintaining and troubleshooting ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) processes
- Performing SQL backups and Disaster Recovery
- Performing database migrations & upgrades
- Working with Azure SQL technologies
- Documenting work and processes
- Provide mentorship to other DBAs on the team
- Provide knowledge transfer
Desired Skills:
- Experience with SQL server applications and supporting components, including SSIS and SSRS.
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) processes.
- Experience in mentor IT staff and database design
- Experience in assessing and introducing new technologies to improve operation of database infrastructure.
- Experience as a lead worker in a team of subject matter experts of varying capacities
- Experience in Microsoft Azure SQL technologies.
- Experience with AlwaysOn and other High Availability SQL technologies.

- Experience with creating and supporting data repositories for data analytics
