Database Analyst Admin.

Description:

Their responsibility shall include overall maintenance, administration, monitoring and troubleshooting for Oracle and SQL Server databases:

Install and Build database structures

Backup & Recovery

Apply patches and upgrade database versions

Daily maintenance including monitoring and database maintenance tasks

Query and performance tuning

Part of On-Call rotation

Develop and maintain documentation

Qualifications

Oracle DBA with over 6-8 years of experience in database administration of high availability production systems.

Provide 24x7 production support, hands on experience in creation and maintenance of Oracle database instance, database design, database performance monitoring and tuning and Unix/Linux shell script

Working experience in Oracle 10G/11g, Grid control, database backup and recovery are also required.

Candidate must be a good team player with strong team concept, self motivated, and excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

RMAN Experience

Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard experience required

Working experience with SQL Server 2000 2005, or 2008.
