Database Analyst - Technical Targeting, Level 3 Deliver insights to help our clients turn data into action as a Database Analyst/Technical Targeting at GDIT. HOW A DATABASE ANALYST/TECHNICAL TARGETING WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: * Analyzes customer requirements and provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
* Applies knowledge of API (Application Programing Interface) for data services and databases.
* Designs, develops, builds, analyzes, evaluates, installs and administers database management systems to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation and configuration management.
* Designs and implements databases with respect to access methods, access time, batch processes, device allocation, validation checks, organization, ETL tasks, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods.
* Prepares system requirements, source analysis and process analyses and design throughout the database implementation.
* Defines database organizations, standards, controls, procedures, and documentation.
* Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
* May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals.
* May serve as a team or task lead. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: * 8+ years of related experience with 7+ years of customer specific experience is required
* Ability to identify and assess the right entities and the right vulnerabilities and technology trends to enable new collection operations
* Ability to confidently deliver clear and concise briefings
* Strong analytic, research, and investigative skills combined with ops sense, personal initiative, and some technical expertise
* Experience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field Operations desired.
* Experience identifying targeting leads through the exploitation of all-source databases and specialized tools desired.
* Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices desired.
* Formal training or certification as a Technical Targeter desired.
* Overseas experience supporting collection operations and information sharing
