NOTE: This position is for a HighJump developer with a very heavy focus on MS SQL development
Duties and Responsibilities
The HighJump Developer plays a crucial role in creating and maintaining the strategic partnership between business needs and technology delivery. The Developer's role is to plan, design, develop and launch efficient systems and solutions in support of core organizational functions. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve issues, opportunities or problems in order to maximize the benefit of IT and Business investments. The Developer is highly experienced and has decision-making authority. He/she is self sufficient, requires no direct supervision, and mentors/coaches others.

Duties and Responsibilities
The HighJump Developer plays a crucial role in creating and maintaining the strategic partnership between business needs and technology delivery. The Developer's role is to plan, design, develop and launch efficient systems and solutions in support of core organizational functions. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve issues, opportunities or problems in order to maximize the benefit of IT and Business investments. The Developer is highly experienced and has decision-making authority. He/she is self sufficient, requires no direct supervision, and mentors/coaches others.
- Evaluate, design, code, optimize, troubleshoot and modify Microsoft SQL code and databases as it pertains to HighJump applications, Advantage Architect, and related process flows and reports
- Model databases and develop tables, stored procedures, views, triggers, and other database objects for HighJump and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
- Tune SQL Code for optimum performance for HighJump/WMS
- Work closely with other developers to integrate databases with other applications and reports
- Review and interpret ongoing business requirements, and architect solutions for business requirements as it relates to HJ/WMS
- Responsible for all aspects of HJ Code design, development, deployment
- Develop documentation for any code modifications
- Work in MS Visio to update and maintain process flows
- Work with Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing teams in order to assure modifications are properly designed and tested.
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
- Supply Chain & Warehouse Mgmt software experience
- Experience as a HighJump developer for 2+ years
- Experience as a SQL Server Database Developer for 2+ years
- Highly proficient in data driven XML using SQL and other technologies
- Highly proficient in SQL Server and T-SQL coding
- Highly proficient in performance tuning
- Works under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment
- Self-starter, motivated, exceptional analytical and communication skills

Nice to have:
- Airline industry experience
- High degree of proficiency in SSIS & SSRS
- Proficiency in SSAS
- Entry level knowledge of .Net coding and development
- Entry level experience with AWS cloud database technologies
