Key Responsibilities:
- Systems Analysis & Design: Determine system requirements for new or modified database application programs and develop detailed system specifications.
- Development & Implementation: Build, test, and implement efficient and cost-effective application solutions, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and IT teams to specify complex business requirements and processes.
- Data Warehouse Solutions: Collaborate with data architects/modelers to deliver robust data warehouse reporting solutions.
- Performance Tuning: Write, optimize, and maintain views, stored procedures, and functions to ensure database performance and reliability.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed deliverables such as source-to-target mappings and transformation rules documentation.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Experience: 7-10 years of relevant work experience in database development and engineering.
- Database Expertise: Proficiency in Oracle and PL/SQL development, including warehousing solutions.
- Cloud Knowledge: Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working across teams.
