Key Responsibilities

In this challenging yet rewarding role as a Database Developer, you are an integral part of what brings our Company's mission to life. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high quality software-based solutions.

You must have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience in and/or with:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 15+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Utilizing Oracle, PostgreSQL and modern database technologies.
  • Performing testing and quality assurance of developed solutions within the existing Oracle data tier.
  • Developing, creating, and modifying data structure and data load routines for analytic use cases.
  • Working with relational data tiers including cleansing, transforming and processing of structured data.
  • Working with views, triggers and Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services environments, including RDS, S3, notification/alert services, etc.
  • Working within an Agile project management model and approved Project Management Frameworks.
  • Aligning data architecture with enterprise strategy and architectures that integrate and improve the quality of enterprise data.


Highly Desired Qualifications

Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:
  • Agile scrum master and agile development team member.
  • Amazon Web Services/Cloud Data Migration Services.
  • JIRA.
  • Collaborating and presenting technical information with staff, IT customers, and other technical and non-technical staff and contractors at all levels.
  • A variety of data repository types (i.e., relational, NoSQL, distributed processing framework, etc.).
