Database Engineer 2 with Security Clearance

Overview BigBear.ai is seeking a Database Engineer 2 to join and assist and meet mission needs for our government customer. This role will be performed onsite at the assigned customer location. What you will do * Monitor databases and related systems to ensure optimized performance. * Support agile activities for a systems including release planning, sprint planning, and retrospectives to gather and incorporate lessons learned into engineering processes. * Model data to design local schemas, tables, data types, indexes, procedures and functions * Work with developers during the normal application development life cycle to build features that deliver value to our customers What you need to have * Bachelor's Degree and 5 to 8 years of Database experience
* Clearance: TS/SCI w/Poly * Database experience using MongoDB or MariaDB, Including: deployment and management of the database itself debugging of optimization issues scaling What we'd like you to have * Python, Django or Flask * ReST Endpoint Development * Micro-Service Model * Swagger * AWS, C2S or other cloud experience * Docker * Visual Studio Code or similar IDEs, JSON and/or XML serialization * Jira, Confluence * Git version control * Experience working in Agile environment About BigBear.ai BigBear.ai is a leading provider of AI-powered decision intelligence solutions for national security, supply chain management, and digital identity.
