This role will involve close collaboration with development teams and internal clients located in Montreal, Mumbai, London, and New York. The successful candidate will be involved in all stages of the development life cycle, from requirements gathering through development to post-release support. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with global development teams and internal clients across multiple locations (Montreal, Mumbai, London, New York).
- Design, develop, and implement large-scale data engineering solutions for the IFPAT fleet initiatives.
- Work across the full development life cycle: gather requirements, develop solutions, and provide post-release support.
- Design and implement ETL pipelines to support next-generation data analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Participate in Agile delivery model, ensuring timely delivery of data engineering solutions.
- Troubleshoot and optimize performance of data pipelines and analytics solutions.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years of experience in implementing large-scale data engineering projects.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL (must-have).
- Proficiency in one programming language: Java, Scala, or Python (must-have).
- Strong working knowledge of RDBMS databases.
Experience:
- Familiarity with Snowflake.
- Experience with Informatica tools (preferred).
- Experience working in an Agile delivery model.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Airflow.
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data engineering tools such as Informatica.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools like PowerBI and Tableau.
- Experience with data pipelines and real-time data processing.
Certifications (if any):
