Description:

We are seeking an experienced Databricks Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Databricks Unity Catalog, Databricks SQL, and Databricks Workflows.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead the design and implementation of data architecture solutions using Databricks Unity Catalog.
  • Be responsible for the development and optimization of SQL queries within Databricks SQL.
  • Provide guidance on the creation and management of Databricks Workflows to ensure efficient data processing.
  • Ensure data governance and security standard methodologies are adhered to within the Databricks environment.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture and workflows.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data processing jobs.
  • Mentor and support team members in the use of Databricks tools.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in Databricks technologies and incorporate them into the architecture.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure data solutions align with business objectives.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
What you'll need to succeed (required skills):
  • Must have strong experience with Databricks Unity Catalog Databricks SQL and Databricks Workflows.
  • Should have a solid understanding of data governance and security standard processes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes and methodologies.

  • Trouble shoot and resolve issues related to data architecture and workflows.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
