Datacenter Network Engineer

Experience:

Knowledge in Cisco Devices Models for routers, switches, Controllers, Access Points

CCNA certification routing and switching desirable, additional certifications will be a plus

Knowledge in IOS upgrade for cisco devices

Experience configuring Cisco devices

Basic cabling knowledge types of fibers and SFPs used for them

The tasks in the staging area of the warehouse are:

• Unbox the hardware received for a specific site
• Power up the devices
• Share with the network team output commands via email with the details to whitelist the router and get it added in vmanage and get the license for switches reserved
• Perform IOS upgraded in the devices according to standards
• Configure the scripts in router, switches, and controllers
• Connect the devices between them to test connectivity
• Connect access points in the switches to check connectivity with the controller
• Collect testing logs of the staging
• Label all the devices with the hostname
• Turn off the devices and package for shipment
• Create the label and leave all in the dock for UPS pick-up

In addition to these tasks, Resource will be helping the rack and stack and connectivity for servers in PDC, there is a router and switch where servers are connected for remote build.
