Description:

The Demand Chain Strategy Project Manager will help define the Demand Chain strategy to support 7-Eleven stores to efficiently and effectively deliver product from supplier to the end customer. The primary focus areas will be analyzing and defining optimal distribution models, and developing partner strategies based on analysis to aid long term strategy and negotiations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze current product path and supply chain channels consisting of wholesale distribution centers, proprietary distribution centers and direct to store (DSD) to understand and create baselines for aggregate cost, cost per unit, fixed/variable costs and service levels
Create complex analytical models assessing multivariable scenarios to understand enterprise impact of potential network variations and changes of product path to store for full store assortment for all stores
Present detailed recommendations (written and verbal) to leadership based on analytical modeling output to maximize customer experience, drive company goals, and cost effectively support the enterprise.
Identify strategic KPIs to drive service partner accountability, creating reporting to drive collaborative and measurable plans for continuous improvement
Research and analyze market trends, current state, and potential paths forward prior to and during negotiations to ensure all needs of the 7-Eleven business are met
Collaborate with internal demand chain team and cross-functional teams to understand individual and organizational priorities related to Supply Chain strategy and partner contracts

Strategic Thinking - Ability to understand future organizational goals, incorporating short-term and long-term desired outcomes and apply to decision-making and recommendations.
Results-driven - Demonstrated ability to deliver results and achieve site-specific KPIs.
7-Eleven Demand Chain Network - Understand current network and ability to evaluate pros/cons and compare with future models.
Communication - Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with internal cross-functional teams and external partners. Communicate project updates effectively, tailoring messaging to different audiences and simplifying complex topics when needed.
Leadership - Ability to independently lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or related experience.

Experience Requirements:
4+ years of work experience.
2+ years experience with Project Management, RFPs, and Supply Chain.
Demonstrated expertise with Word, Excel, and other MS Office suite applications.
Excellent communication, organizational, time management and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to research and resolve issues.
Ability to present information, both verbally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to track multiple efforts concurrently.
Positive and professional attitude.
