Job Summary:
Nelson-Jameson is seeking an experienced Demand Generation Manager with an account-based marketing (ABM) & automation focus to lead and evolve our marketing automation and ABM strategy. In this hands-on, high-impact role, you'll own the setup, optimization, and management of our HubSpot platform to create meaningful, personalized customer journeys that drive engagement and revenue. You'll collaborate across teams to develop targeted campaigns, streamline workflows, and improve marketing performance through data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will not only possess strong marketing automation and ABM expertise but also have the mindset of a salesperson, understanding how to identify opportunities and drive leads through the funnel. Occasional travel to our office or industry events will be required. Key Responsibilities:
  • Development and implementation ABM marketing strategies to attract, convert, nurture, and retain customers
  • Manage optimization for HubSpot marketing automation account, including setting up and configuring tools, managing contacts, creating reports, dashboards, and maintaining data integrity within the platform.
  • Collaborate with the team to recommend, develop and execute marketing campaigns, leveraging the marketing automation suite of tools and integrations.
  • Implement A/B testing strategies to continually improve email performance and drive increased engagement and conversion rates.
  • Accountable for driving business growth by meeting revenue goals
  • Create and optimize landing pages, forms, and calls-to-action (CTAs) to capture leads and drive conversions, using the content management system (CMS) and conversion optimization tools.
  • Implement lead-nurturing workflows and automated email campaigns to engage leads at each stage of the buyer's journey and move them through the marketing funnel.
  • Proficiently utilize various AI platforms and applications in a manner that prioritizes ethical considerations, maximizes operational effectiveness, and ensures efficient deployment of resources to drive innovation and improve overall performance.
  • Collaborate with the content marketing team to develop high-quality, relevant content assets to fuel inbound marketing efforts and attract qualified leads.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics related to marketing and lead generation, such as website traffic, lead conversion rates, email engagement, and marketing ROI, using analytics and reporting tools.
  • Continuously optimize and iterate on marketing campaigns based on data-driven insights and best practices, experimenting with different strategies, tactics, and messaging to improve results.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices.
  • Lead, train and support internal team members on email best practices, workflows, and tools to ensure effective use of the platform across the team
  • Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations, including CAN-SPAM and GDPR, and maintain a clean and engaged subscriber list.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Required:
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
    • Experience: 5+ years of digital, content, or email marketing experience-preferably in a B2B environment
    • Expertise in an enterprise CRM and marketing automation software such as HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud,
    • Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly with excellent business writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
    • Ability to travel 10% of time (on average once per month for 2-3 days at a time.)
  • Preferred:
    • Experience in product marketing, manufacturing, distribution
    • Experience developing and managing a team
    • Familiarity with and basic HTML/CSS skills
